Master Distiller - Jonny Harper's Carbon Reduction Presentation Sparks something exciting with Freemans Event Partners

We’re off to the British Grand Prix 2024 with our top shelf HAKA + COKE.

In an exciting turn of events, I was recently asked to deliver a presentation on carbon reduction in the distilling sector at a local university on behalf of the Growth Hub who had taken me under their wing, giving me mentoring in all things “business” when I started out back in 2019. As I had some significant help from the Growth Hub in Gloucester which led to further mentoring by Innovate UK, I really wanted to pay it forward and give back some of the love I had received from them with a view that if anyone could get something out of my presentation that made a positive difference to their own business, then that would be a super result. My insightful talk not only showcased the distillery's commitment to sustainability but also caught the attention of Freemans Event Partners, a leading supplier of food and beverages to some of the UK's and Europe’s largest events.

This prestigious event, which draws a massive crowd, will now feature our HAKA Rum, allowing attendees to enjoy a high-quality, locally produced, and environmentally conscious beverage, which on the day will be a top shelf HAKA + COKE.

I am so excited about the partnership and I am over the moon to support such a great company with not only our ethos but also our much-loved HAKA Rum. We cannot wait to see it being poured behind the bars at Silverstone this coming week. This will be my first time experiencing the event live from trackside, and I can’t wait!
