I grew up in New Zealand surrounded by nature and stunning native forests, which is where my fascination for building copper pot stills sparked back in 1989. During my teenage years, I made rum and whiskey, bootlegging my spirits to top up my meagre pay packet whilst an apprentice engineer in the aerospace sector.

After moving to the UK, I took the plunge and officially set up a legit distillery in Gloucestershire in 2020. Over the years, I've gained recognition for my small-batch Gins and Rum, bagging incredible awards along the way. The demand for my creations led us to upscale and relocate to a more spacious facility just off the M5 in 2022.

Embracing the Eco-Distillery ethos, I still put my engineering skills to good use, crafting unique copper stills from scratch using up-cycled materials. All of our energy comes straight from the heavens, thanks to the solar panels adorning our roof. I take pride in the design of our super-efficient product cooling condensers, which use up to eight times less water than the conventional counterparts.

We're all about supporting local businesses and suppliers, with most of our ingredients sourced from within a 30-mile radius of the distillery. For some of our more exotic botanicals, like the New Zealand feijoa that adds a special touch to our fine Gins, we cultivate and grow the trees right on-site. Our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint ensures that indulging in our products comes with a side of guilt-free enjoyment. Cheers to craftsmanship, sustainability, and a good time!
